We are planning on carrying out this purchasing process at its maximum, and we are planning on concluding it before the Sinhala and Tamil New Year; if we do not do so the private sector may purchase the paddy at a very low level from the farmers. We are also planning on setting a stipulated price for this purchased paddy.
