Research has revealed that, mothers taking excessive Paracetamol dosages during pregnancy could result in complications for the new born.

Specialist doctor at the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children, Dr. Ratnasiri A. Hewage stated that, the research study took place among 48,000 mothers over a period of three years and was carried out by a group of researchers attached to the University of Oslo, Norway.

He added that, it is not recommended for mothers to take paracetamol during pregnancy without medical advice.
