A suspect who was arrested for selling his brother’s   children was remanded until February 26, after being produced before the Gampola Magistrate Court.

One of the children who was sold by the suspect was taken under police care on Thursday, while the other was discovered on Friday from Kurunegala.

The two year old had been sold for a sum of Rs.5000  to two women from Keerapane, Gampola.
