The CID has launched investigations to ascertain the locations of 65 vehicles attached to the Presidential Secretariat which have been reported missing.
Police Media Spokesperson SSP Ajith Rohana stated that a police unit has been assigned to the carry out the search.
He further stated that any individual who is found guilty of possessing such a vehicle would be tried in court and the suspects will not be granted bail till the court proceedings conclude.
A majority of the 749 vehicles owned by the Presidential Secretariat were discovered recently at a number of locations.
