M.M. Zuhair has been appointed as the Director General of the Telecommunication Regulatory Commission.
M.M. Zuhair was presented with his letter of appointed by President Maithripala Sirisena on Wednesday evening.
Zuhair who entered politics in 1994 represented Parliament until the year 2000. M.M. Zuhair also served as the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation from 2004 to 2005.
He also served as Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran from 2006 to 2012.
