M.H.A. Haleem assumed duties as the Cabinet Minister of Muslim Religious Affairs and Post on Thursday.

Members of the clergy were present at the occasion.

Addressing the media, the Minister stated that he is aware that the ministry he had been vested with has a number of important responsibilities.
