Addressing a media briefing in Colombo, on Friday the Inter University Students Federation (IUSF) made three demands from the new government.
Convener of the IUSF Najith Indika pointed out that their demands included the reduction of unjust costs at the Open University, lifting the ban on student associations and lifting the suspension of academic activities.
He went on to note that university students would take the required course of action if the new government continues with the same ideologies adopted by the previous administration when dealing with their problems.
