They have collected 500,000 rupees from each businessman in Boralesgamuwa and are constructing a building with the use of members of the defence force. Today these members of the defence force went home. So I urged that an entry be lodged with the police. So, when this group and another group arrived at the police station to lodge to complaint, the OIC did not record the complaint. So while exiting the station I said “fine then, I will talk to the DIG about this”. And then they pushed me. At this instance my party members were outside. They used foul language at me as well.

Subsequent to this incident, a group of supporters of Niroshan Padukka and a group of UPFA supporters gathered opposite the Police.
