Politburo Member of Frontline Socialist Party, Duminda Nagamuwa said that there is going to be a little squabble between Maithripala Sirisena, Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunge and Ranil Wickremesinghe in their journey to create a new government.

Addressing a media briefing today, Duminda Nagamuwa expressed these views on the current political situation in the country.

He added:

The squabble will be based on the Executive Powers. This is where it will be decided whether or not the executive powers will be abolished. So, regardless of what was in their policy manifesto, we urge the public to be aware.

He went on to say, according to their 100-day programme, the swearing-in should technically be done today. However, all of that was done last night. So similarly, the rest of the work will be also be done in the same way.
