After the 8th we are vested with the responsibility of rallying the people. We are in need of an extensive social transformation in order to guarantee the people social freedom, economy and democracy. In order to bring that extensive social transformation to fruition, we are vying to engage in politics with the aim of of aggregating the people and bringing them together. JVP is also aiming to utilise this political landscape to quash the executive presidency Abolishing the 18th amendment to the constitution. The JVP is also ready to explain the window of opportunity of an Independent Commission that would come into place with the enactment of the 17th Amendment to the Constitution which will help strengthen the democracy of the country. We will also take a step forward that would bring all the perpetrators, who have engaged, in fraudulent activities to book, by gathering information that we have gathered with the use of a massive number of files. We are also attempting to make necessary law reforms that will enable the people to know about the government’s undertakings by enacting the Right to Information Act .
