According to foreign media reports, 2 gunmen have stormed the Paris office of French Magazine, Charlie Hebdo.
French President François Hollande who arrived at the location, described the shooting as a terrorist attack and confirmed that 11 individuals had died while 4 others are in critical condition.
Meanwhile BBC quoting eyewitnesses reports that the gunmen were carrying Kalashnikov assault rifles.
British Premier David Cameron in a tweet stated that
“The murders in Paris are sickening. We stand with the French people in the fight against terror and defending the freedom of the press.”
The magazine has not been a stranger to controversy and just last week issued a tweet with a cartoon of the Islamic State militant group leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
