Deputy Minister of National Languages and Social Integration P. Digambaram has stepped down from his position.

His media secretary told News1st that the Deputy Minister sent his letter of resignation to President Mahinda Rajapaksa today.

Digambaram who was elected to Parliament from the Nuwara Eliya district took oaths as a deputy minister in August.
