Six suspects have been taken into custody in connection with the shooting and murder of a former LTTE member who was undergoing rehabilitation in the Ganeshapuram region in Mannar.

Police Media Spokesperson SSP Ajit Rohana states that a Grama Niladari is among those arrested. The SSP added that the motive of the murder is yet to be ascertained.
