Case pertaining to “unauthorised use of A F Jones’ tea trade marks” taken up

The case pertaining to the unauthorised use of the tea brand trademarks Imona and Canary Device, owned by AF Jones, a subsidiary of the Capital Maharaja Organisation, was taken up before Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage, on Monday.

On Tuesday, counsel for the plaintiff, upon exiting court on Monday, pointed out to the media, confusing elements in legal facts mentioned by the Defence Counsel.
