Trains services resume after Kalutara derailment

An engine derailment in Kalutara which disrupted services on the coastal railway line  brought train services to a halt. But railway authorities now say that train services are  back in operation.

The Railways Control Room stated that the derailed engine was set back on the tracks on Saturday night.

This incident occurred around 1.30 p.m. and as a result of the derailment express trains to Matara have been at a standstill.
