Uva Provincial Council ministers sworn in

The New Ministers for the Uva Provincial Council took oaths before President Mahinda Rajapaksa on Thursday morning.

The Presidents Media Unit said that Chief Minister of Uva Province Shasheendra Rajapaksa was sworn in as the Provincial Minister of Finance and Planning, Law and Order, Education, Local Government,Lands, Culture and the Social services.

Meanwhile, Anura Vidanagamage was sworn in as the Provincial Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, Animal Products, Fisheries , Transport and Tourism.

Kumarasiri Rathnayake took oaths as the Provincial Minister of Health, Indegineous Medicine, Probation and Child Care as well as Women’s Affairs.

Senthil Thondaman was sworn in as the Uva Provincial Minister of Road Development, Housing, Water Supply and Infrastructure Facilities.

According to the Presidents Media Unit, Chamara Sampath Dassanayake was sworn in as the Provincial Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Power and Evergy, Small Industries and Cooperatives.
