One is person reported dead and nearly 50 injured in a bus accident in Teldeniya. Police stated that the bus had plunged into a 200-metre precipice.

The individuals injured in the accident have been admitted to the Teldeniya Hospital.The Police Media Unit stated that the accident occurred while the bus had been travelling from Wekanda to Kandy.
