Coach of the Sri Lanka cricket ‘A’ team, Romesh Kaluwitharana has been sent back from Hambanthota due to an emergency situation after contracting a heart decease.

Sri Lanka Cricket states that he suddenly fell ill on Monday.

Kaluwitharana was brought to Colombo on Tuesday after being admitted to the Hambantota Hospital on Monday.

This was confirmed by the president of the selection committee, Sanath Jayasuriya.
