The Director General of the Department of fisheries and Aquatic resources, Nimal Hettiarachchi said that the two fishing vessels are at risk owing to the rough nature of the sea.
He said however that none of the passengers have been harmed.
The Director General said that apart from these two vessels, all other vessels are headed towards Myanmar for safety. He said that the vessels are at present about one kilometre away from Myanmar.
