Meanwhile, shadow directors of the Wildlife Authority have also launched a strike action.

Chairman of the Trade Union of the Shadow Directors of the Wildlife Authority, Attorney-at-Law, A.Lalith Kumara said that the strike action has been launched as the shadow directors who have been in the position for a prolonged period of time are yet to receive their letters of appointment.
