Spectators at the Jolly Rally in Italy’s Valle d’Aosta had a lucky escape when a car left the track and crashed into a bank of spectators.
The tumbling Renault Clio passed within inches of the crowd, who could be seen scrambling away from the incoming vehicle in footage uploaded of the incident.
None of the spectators were injured.
Driver Pietro Scavone and co-driver Diego D’Herin sustained minor injuries while one person from the crowd was treated for shock, according to the La Repubblica newspaper.
