Korean Language Proficiency Test to be conducted in Colombo

The Bureau of Foreign Employment says that the Korean Language Proficiency Test will be held on October 11 and 12. The test which is held for the twelfth time will be conducted in four test centres in the Colombo district.

The Bureau of Foreign Employment said the test will be conducted at Thurstan College, Ashoka College, Gothami Girls’ School and D.S. Senanayake College in Colombo.

Thirteen thousand nine hundred and ninety eight (13,998) candidates are expected to face the test. The Korean Language Proficiency Test will be conducted in four stage during the two days.

The bureau said the test will only be held for jobs in the fisheries and construction industry. The Bureau of Foreign Employment says that electronic devices including mobile phones will not be permitted in the examination hall.

The bureau further said that those caught cheating would be punished irrespective of their status.
