The University Grants Commission says that University entrance registrations for students who completed their A/levels in 2013 will commence in the first week of October.
Chairperson of The University Grant Commission, Prof. Shanika Hirimburegama said that students who received a letter of registration must come on their respective registration date, if not they will be considered as absent from the course and their place will be given to another student.
However, students unable to register due to unavoidable circumstances can inform the university and another individual will be allowed to register on their behalf.
Speaking to News1st, Prof. Hiburegama said, letters informing the relevant university and the date of registration have already been sent to Medical Faculty, Science Faculty and Engineering Faculty and letters are being prepared for the Management and Arts Faculties.
