One individual was killed and nearly twenty four others including  UPFA Provincial Council Candidate Senthil Thondaman were injured in an accident  in Bandarawela.

Police Media Spokesperson Ajith Rohana said that the accident occurred while the individuals were engaged in election propaganda activities.
