We wrote to the relevant ministries on the 21st. The Ministry of Economic Development and the Divi Neguma Department has informed us that no one has been sent for election activities on government funds. No outside officials have been dispatched by the ministry of economic development for a survey in the Uva province which will be held from the 5th to the 8th. We had taken action on this complaint earlier.
Meanwhile,  Commissioner of the Sri Lanka Human Rights Commission, Dr Prathiba Mahanamahewa said:
We will send letters to all the secretaries of ministries that government officials cannot be involved in any political activity other than casting the vote. Disciplinary action will be taken if this is not the case.
