Alleged drug racketeer ‘Kudu Chamara” also known as Thusitha Chamara, was taken into custody at the Bandaranaike International Airport.

Police stated that the suspect was allegedly attempting to flee the country under a false name.

Thusitha Chamara alias Kudu Chamara was arrested  by the police Anti Narcotics Unit in June for possessing 500 grammes of Heroin.

The suspect who was kept under remand custody at the Ragama Hospital due a health condition, escaped from Hospital.
