UNP Kolonnawa Organiser S.M. Marikkar states that the United National Party is taking steps to gather the youth in the Colombo district and organise a massive cricket tournament for them.A softball cricket competition featuring 30 teams from the fifteen electorates of the Colombo district was inaugurated at the premises of the UNP Headquarters Sirikotha.

UNP Kolonnawa Organiser, S.M. Marikkar said: “Our leader has an idea to take this competition to other parts of the country as well . We will gather all the winners from the district and create an event bigger tournament. Through this we aim to bolster youth activities within the party ..”
