Ninety Four Indian fishermen who obtained freedom from Sri Lankan custody are due to be handed over to India on Saturday

Assistant Director of the Fisheries Department Lal De Silva said the fishermen are due to be handed over to the Indian Coast Guard in seas of Kankesanthurai and Talaimannar on Saturday afternoon .

Seventy one fishermen will be handed over in the seas of Talaimannar. The President instructed authorities to pardon all Indian fishermen who were under arrest in line with the 68th Independence Day celebrations of India.
