An individual was killed and another injured, when a bus collided with a motorcycle in the south Thanthirimalei area.

The police said that the 37-year0old motorcyclist, a resident of Katupitiya, Thanthirimalei, had died in the accident on August 9 evening.

The injured individual, meanwhile, has been admitted to the Anuradhapura Hospital. The driver of the bus has been arrested.
