The second Randoli Perahera of the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic in Kandy will take place on August 7 evening.
The first Randoli Perahera took place August 6 night with the participation of the Diyawadana Nilame at the auspicious time of 7:10 p.m. An elephant from Katharagama was provided the opportunity to carry the main casket of the Temple of the Tooth Relic. Two elephants from the elephant school belonging to the Temple of the Tooth Relic, namely Sinha Raja and Miyan Raja, escorted the main tusker in the August 6 perahera.
The second Randoli Perahera is scheduled to start at the auspicious time 6:56 p.m. The perahera is scheduled to travel along Dalada Veediya, D.S. Senanayake Street, Colombo Street and Yati Nuwara Street.
