Two individuals have been arrested in Ruwanwella under the charges of attempting to pawn fake jewellery to a state bank.

A fake identity card was also found with the suspects who are residents from Puvakpitiya and Eheliyagoda.

The suspects are scheduled to appear before the Ruwanwella Magistrate on Saturday.
