Portuguese Prime Minister Pedro Passos Coelho is expected to arrive in the country this morning for a two day official visit.
During his visit the Prime Minister of Portugal is to meet President Mahinda Rajapaksa for bilateral discussion.
Meanwhile the Ministry of External Affairs announced that he is to meet Prime Minister D.M. Jayaratne on Sunday evening for discussions.The Portuguese Prime Minister will also visit Galle.
Furthermore, the Minister of Foreign Affairs adn International Cooperation of the United Republic of Tanzania, Bernard K.Membe, will arrive in Sri Lanka on the morning of Monday July 21 for a two-day visit
The Ministry of External Affairs said that during his visit he will hold discussions with senior government officials, where he is expected to enter into numerous bilateral agreements.
