Cabinet approval for students who fail Mathematics at GCE O/L to continue…

Cabinet approval for students who fail Mathematics at GCE O/L to continue…

Cabinet has approved legislation to allow students who fail Mathematics at the GCE Ordinary Level Examination, despite passing other subjects, to continue with their academic activities.

These students will be given the opportunity to complete the Mathematics module within a time-frame of two years.

Our Parliament Correspondent said the decision was taken so students who fail mathematics can continue upto the age of having compulsory education.
