The National Child Protection Authority has announced a decision to provide special training for parents to monitor their children’s internet usage.
Chairperson of the Authority Anoma Dissanayake stated that this training would be provided at the district level as well as at the head office.
She added that the decision was taken after reviewing a variety of child abuse cases that had resulted from the unmonitored use of the internet by children.
