Homes near one of Brazil’s World Cup stadiums were devastated after a huge sink hole opened up.
Furniture, cars and household appliances were sent tumbling into the massive crater in Natal, in the north eastern state Rio Grande do Norte following heavy rainfall.
Homes remain teetering on the edge of the hole, which alarmingly is still growing because of the adverse weather.
It is four miles from the Arena das Dunas stadium, which will host the Group D match between Italy and Uruguay on Tuesday.
