Second leg of Diyasara Students Circle held at Aranaya Ussapitiya Rivisadha National College

Another programme of the second leg of Diyasara Kavaya or the “Diyasara Students Circle” — an initiative of Newsfirst and S-Lon Lanka Private Ltd — was held at the Aranaya Ussapitiya Rivisadha National College on Friday.

The aim of the programme is to create awareness among the future generation to identify varying issues pertaining to water and to save and manage water resources. A student circle comprises of 40 students of the same school.

The students are granted an opportunity to compile project reports on how best they can manage their water resources. Professor M.M.S. A Marasinghe of the Rajarata University was the special guest speaker at the event.
