A homicide was reported from Minuwangoda on Tuesday. A body with laceration marks was discovered on the sports ground of President’s College, Minuwangoda on Tuesday morning.

The victim of the murder has been identified as a seventeen-year-old youth from Miriswatte in Minuwangoda.His family says that he had left home last evening to meet a friend.

Police say that they discovered several bottles of liquor at the scene of the crime.
