Ten office train services have been cancelled due to the failure of a group of locomotive engineers not reporting to work.

The Railway Control Room said that therefore several train services plying along the main line, the coastal line and the Kelaniweli line were cancelled.

These cancelled train services include those due to travel from Colombo Fort to Moratuwa, Ragama, Polgahawela, Mirigama and Aluthgama railway stations.

The Railway Control Room said however other long distance railway services will operate as usual.
