Terror descended on several Australian beaches after an enormous 16ft shark was spotted stalking the coastline just meters away from shore.
Helicopter footage captures the monstrous Great White pursuing a whale near the coast of Perth – forcing authorities to evacuate holiday makers from nearby beaches.
Western Australia holds the highest shark death rate in the entire country – with seven fatalities occurring in the past three years alone.
One eyewitness said: “I’ve never seen anything like it. It was huge.”
A law has recently passed in the area that allowed sharks to be culled – with the government claiming it would ensure the safety of beach-goers.
