The Sri Lanka National Blind Cricket Team recorded their second win on Saturday by defeating the Australian National Blind Cricket Team by eight wickets.

The second limited over encounter was played at the Galle International Cricket Stadium.

The Australian side posted 336 runs for the loss of six wickets in their 40 overs. Suranga Sampath bagged two wickets for the Lankan team.

Chasing 337 runs to win , the Sri Lanka National Blind Cricket team won the game in 29.4 overs, losing two wickets. Chandana Deshapriya and Ruwan Wasantha  scored centuries.

Captain of the Lanka side, Chandana Sooriyarachchi said that their hopes of performing well at the Blind Cricket World Cup were cemented after their win on Saturday.
