An international conference to exchange views on world heritage and sustainable development is scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka.
The Ministry of National Heritage noted that the conference is scheduled to be held on May 4 and 5.
The Ministry also noted that the delegates representing regional countries of the Indian ocean are slated to participate in the conference.
Eight sites of Sri Lanka have been inscribed in the UNESCO world heritage namely Polonnaruwa, Anuradhapura, Sigiriya, Kandy, Dambulla, Galle and Fort.OK
