The Sri Lanka Human Rights Commission has commenced an investigation into the death of the former OIC of Borella following the recent unrest that occurred in Thunnana, Hanwella.
Attorney-at-law Nimal Punchihewa said that the Commisssion had received complaints regarding incidents that occurred following the unrest.
Meanwhile, on an unrelated note, the legal secretary of the SLHRC noted that the Commission has completed the report on the situation that arose in Rathupaswala.
