The National Water Supply and Drainage Board states that the supply of water to several areas in Colombo will be disrupted for urgent maintenance work.

Accordingly, a ten-hour water cut will be effected from 10 p.m. on Friday until 8 a.m on Saturday in the Nugegoda area – from the Nugegoda junction on High Level Road to Wijerama Road, Pitakotte, Etul Kotte, Mirihana , Udahamulla, Wijerama, Pagoda Road, Nawala, Madiwela and Talpathpitiya.

The areas of Maharagama, Borelesgamuwa and Kesbewa will also experience a water cut during this time.

A thirteen-hour water cut from 9 p.m Friday to 10 a.m on Saturday will also come into effect in the areas of Mattakkuliya, Kotehena, Modera, Muthuwella, Madampitiya, Mahawatte, Saint Catherine Estate and from the area from college junction to Kalalgoda Road.
