An 8.2 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast off Chile on Tuesday generating a Tsunami measuring almost two metres that killed two people when it hit the Chilean north coast.
The U.S. National Tsunami Warning Centre has issued a map that shows the countries that are likely to be affected by the Tsunami.
The map demonstrates how the Tsunami wave expands from the epicenter of the earthquake stricken area to the Indian Ocean.
However, the Department of Meteorology states that Sri Lanka will not be affected by the Tsunami.
The strength of the Tsunami is shown from the colour variation from red to green.
