Police have launched investigations to arrest a woman who had allegedly caused serious injury to a child’s hand in the Kekirawa area in  Kalawewa.

Police Media Spokesperson, SSP Ajith Rohana stated that the woman had  fled the area.The victim of the incident is a four-year-old girl.

Police stated that during a dispute between the suspect and the victim’s mother, the suspect had inflicted a blow which had broken the bones in the child’s hand.
