A youth was killed subsequent to being electrocuted during the process of installing a billboard bearing an advertisement on the Nugegoda flyover bridge.

Director of the Colombo South Teaching Hospital, Dr. Asela Gunawardene stated that another youth had sustained critical injuries following electrocution.

Dr. Gunawardene added that he is currently receiving treatment from the Hospital’s intensive Care Unit.

Meanwhile, the body of the deceased is currently lying at the Hospital.
