Democratic Party candidate of the Western Province, K.A. Nishantha has been found on Monday morning inside his vehicle with his hands bound.

Police stated, that the candidate’s wife had lodged a complaint on Monday morning to the Mathugama Police stating that he has disappeared.

Thereafter, the Mathugama Police had been able to discover the candidate in an estate inside his car with his hands bound.

The candidate K.A.Nishantha had been later hospitalised.
