President Mahinda Rajapaksa says that no matter what decisions are taken in Geneva, the government will only follow the people’s decision.

He said that the people who have faith in the government cannot be let down.

President Rajapaksa expressed these views at a public rally held in the Piliyandala Provincial Council Grounds on Saturday evening. He said that the people of the opposition that cannot come forward are seeking the help of foreign nations to do so.

He stated that the promises made by the government to the people of the nation will be fulfilled accordingly and that issues faced by the people will be solved by way of the government’s development projects.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa said that all provinces have been developed equally and that patriots to the nation would have already felt the difference in the country.
