Underdogs Hong Kong clinched an emphatic two-wicket win over Bangladesh in the tenth match of the World T20 played in Chittagong on Thursday.
Winning the toss, Hong Kong’s captain Jamie Atkinson opened to give first lease of the wicket to the hosts who were only able to score 108 runs as the Bangladeshi batsmen were restricted in 16.3 overs.
Shakib al-Hassan was the top scorer for the Bangladeshi’s scoring 34 runs.
Nadeem Ahmed was the pick of the Honk Kong bowlers picking up 4 wickets for 21 runs.
Chasing a total of 109 runs Hong Kong reached their target in 19.4 overs for the loss of 8 wickets.
Muni Dar top scored with 36. Shakib al Hassan impressed with the ball as well bagging 3 wickets for 9 runs.
