Search for the MH370: SL grants permission to enter airspace

The Sri Lankan Government has granted permission to four countries to enter the country’s airspace to carry out operations in search of the missing Malaysian Airlines plane.

The Ministry of External Affairs said that permission was granted following a request made by the Malaysian Government.

Thereby, countries such as Malaysia, New Zealand, Australia and the USA have been granted permission in this regard.

The Malaysian Airlines flight 370 with 239 people on board.  was reported missing since March 8.

The Boeing 777 was headed towards Beijing from Kuala Lumpur before its disappearance from radar.
